Tastey recipe, just needs a fiddling tweeking. Here'due south what I changed/added: I used 2 tbsp Brown saccharide, 4 tablespoons soy sauce, 1/2 tsp basis ginger, 1/2 chopped big onion, one/ii tsp blackness pepper, ane (14 oz tin can beef broth), and also ended up using one/four cup flour to thicken the sauce. I cooked the meat with the goop mixture, instead of seperatley, the meat turned out perfectly. I will make this once more, kids and husband loved it, no complaints, just needs something.

I gave this recipe five stars because it is an excellent recipe. I made some changes to my sense of taste, merely that's considering I like food somewhat spicy. The offset alter that I made was to cook the round steak until tender earlier adding vegetables. I also added one sliced onion to the simmering the meat. I also doubled the marinade and the sauce based on previous comments and as well because I think I had more than meat than the recipe called for. I added chile oil, chili garlic sauce and substituted one teaspoon of sesame oil for oyster sauce. My brocolli beef stood up to the best Chinese restaurants. My married man and I both enjoyed this recipe. It's piece of cake to prepare and a must try. I don't call back you lot tin really go wrong because you can add anything you like and it would probably withal be good. It has an fantabulous foundation to work with.

I am a tired, cranky, hungry college student with a microscopic kitchen and very little time to spend on cooking. This recipe was everything I was looking for - quick, like shooting fish in a barrel, very yummy and salubrious. After reading the reviews, I used 14 oz of broth, basis ginger, sirloin, and threw chopped onion in with the beef. I also used frozen broccoli, because I'm lazy. =) The sauce was perfect and was terrific over rice. I think this recipe could be hands adapted to accomodate whatsoever ingredients yous have on hand - and I recollect it might freeze well (I'g going to make extra side by side time and effort freezing the leftovers to see how it goes). Thanks so much - this ane's going to exist committed to my memory!

My family and I Love this recipe. Information technology's very yummy and satisfying. I practise brand a couple of changes, though. I use sirloin steak because it's more tender. I use a fleck more garlic and finely chopped ginger and I add together sliced onions to give information technology that almost-Chinese-restaurant gustatory modality. I likewise separate some out for the kids and so add red pepper flakes to the balance for my married man and I and our spicy palates! Very yummy!

Wow this was great, I have been making beef broccoli for a while just it was e'er missing something...it was the ginger...the ginger added just what it had been missing and nosotros loved it. Though I would accept to say that after information technology cooks the chunks of ginger are a bit also much and then instead I would utilize powdered ginger root or used bigger piecies of ginger and just remove it after its cooked. Overall this was a slap-up repast that I am certain I will exist making fourth dimension and time once again now.
04/02/2003
First-class!! I must admit that this is the best oriental recipe I have see! I listened to the advice of others in thier reviews and used ginger powder instead of the root. I also tripled the sauce and will exercise the same adjacent time. It was nifty subsequently I finished and me and my daughter loved it. Adding an onion while beef was cooking was a bang-up idea also. Truly a favorite.
10/14/2002
Quick and piece of cake and and then good!!! I loved the ginger flavour. I did have ginger root on hand but I just sprinkled some ginger powder and it tasted fine!!! The sauce was wonderful and I used Stir Fry Cut up Beef so it was really tender and super convenient! We served this with the new Lipton Asian side dishes...used the Beefiness Lo Mein. This tasted just like carryout Chinese!!! Cheers so much Sara..this is a definate keeper!
01/03/2001
Just like the dish y'all find at expensive chinese restaurants, yet without all the calories and price. Piece of cake and tasty.
11/11/2002
This was okay but nada special. Per other reviewers, I added chopped onion, additional garlic, bamboo shoots and 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes. Still, little taste and won't be making over again. Cheers but no thanks.
09/21/2011
Delicious! I eaten a lot of broccoli beef and I must say that this is a pretty skilful recipe! I scaled this back to serve 2 people. I used boneless beef curt-ribs instead of beef round steak mainly because it is a softer meat and won't toughen up as information technology cooks. I also stuck the meat in the freezer a bit and then it would exist easier to slice diagonally with a kitchen pocketknife. Earlier I par-boiled the broccoli crowns in order to cut downwardly on cooking time and also to retain it's vibrant green color. I just added the broccoli to hot, humid water, turned off the stove and covered it with a hat and let information technology sit for a infinitesimal before draining. To the sauce I added a niggling more garlic and grated ginger to suit my tastes. I also doubled the amount of sauce because i know nosotros all like a piffling more sauce over our rice. I browned the meat in the hot skillet for about 2 minutes on each side and quickly removed it to a plate. I added the garlic, ginger and flour/goop mixture and let information technology cook. I constitute that I had to add together a little more beef stock to get the sauce to the right consistency. I added the meat back along with the broccoli. Within 5 minutes everything was done. The sauce is very tasty and savory with the right amount of ginger, garlic and beef broth. It is not besides thick or besides thin. The meat is very tender, flavorful and easy to chew. The broccoli adds a squeamish texture with information technology's crisis and green color. We enjoyed this dish served along with rice.
01/31/2011
Excellent Dish. Very good flavor. A must-attempt. I added stale cherry-red chili pepper to add a fiddling oestrus to the meal. I also used a piddling extra ginger, a ane/2 tsp total, and did not find information technology overpowering at all.
03/21/2010
OK my intent to make every bit posted was very geniune, merely never came to that point. The outcome of the dish was delicious though. I concluded up slicing my beefiness sirloin on the grain and marinating in the 2 T soy sauce indicated with the ginger and garlic. But I so I did not know how to folow the exact recipe so I did the following: to the marinating meat I added 1 tsp sesame oil and 1/two tsp red pepper flakes Then I stir fried calculation one tin of beef broth mixed with two T of cornstarch and Not the flour indicated on the receipe Added broccoli and let simmer. It was fabulous, but not as posted but I wanted to share none the less. I used all of the listed ingredients, simply did it my way; I will give it 4 stars for ingredients but actually needs the scarlet pepper flakes.
04/14/2012
My family liked this. I gave it iv stars although information technology was good, information technology didn't knock my socks off. I would brand this again. calculation onions, snow peas would exist good as well.
02/25/2005
Beefiness northward Broccoli has always been my family unit favorite... For those of y'all who find this recipe a bit bland (like I did :P) try marinading the meat first with: ii tablespoons oyster sauce, 1 teaspoon hoisin sauce, 1 teaspoon sugar, 2 tablespoon sugariness soy sauce (kecap manis) - if you lot deceit find it utilize ii tbs soy sauce and 2 teaspoon dark-brown carbohydrate instead, 1 teaspoon sesame oil. Permit it marinade for half an hr or and so before you stir fry it. Calculation ane whole onion chopped in rings with the broccoli is too overnice. If you desire information technology more than stir fry like, only reduce the corporeality of broth used past half or more (and also the flour).
ten/29/2002
Like shooting fish in a barrel... Yummy! I followed other's suggestions and used top sirloin steak... sliced it thin while it was all the same a bit frozen. I also added a handfull (will utilize 2-three handfulls adjacent time) of small-scale mushrooms. I put the broccoli in the concluding 2 minutes, considering we similar it a scrap crunchy and not overcooked. Thanks for this super easy recipe!
02/28/2009
Very nice recipe except it seemed to be missing a bit of a kick for our tastes so after I tasted it I added one/4 tsp cayenne and 2 more than TB soy sauce. PERFECT! I will definitely make this over again!
10/28/2008
I brand this often and freeze information technology most fix to cook. I put everything except the beef goop and broccoli into a quart pocketbook and mix. Freeze apartment then when ready to apply I defrost - merely melt all at the same time. Then cascade the beef broth over and add the broccoli. Mix it all together and cook until broccoli simply barely tender.
11/04/2002
The sauce has a good flavor. I did double it based on prior reviews. I also doubled the garlic and ginger. I added onion, bamboo shoots, red pepper flakes and well-nigh 1 tablespoon of sesame oil. I did make the error of using round steak instead of sirloin, though, considering that'south all I had. Information technology was tough and flavorless, I'll definitely utilise sirloin side by side time!
06/29/2010
Loved it! But... threw it all in the deadening cooker on high for an hour and a half instead of a skillet. I doubled the beef broth and added a little water and so the beef would be completely covered and I added the broccoli to the mix once the beef was cooked. I added toasted sesame seeds to the top when it what all finished and it was AMAZING!!!!
03/10/2011
This is a quick easy and VERY tasty recipe! The primal is to non over melt the ingredients. I followed the recipe to a T and the sauce is perfect every bit is. Nosotros accept fabricated this many times and will continue to practice so! Give thanks you lot! :)
11/06/2001
Hither's a hint: instead of slicing the beef, cut it in strips with kitchen shears. Much faster and easier on the easily! I idea this one was a lilliputian bland, and the consistency too thick. Next time I will utilise more garlic, less ginger, less flour, and maybe some curry to help spice it up a little.
02/22/2011
Delicious recipe. I added sliced onion and the garlic to the beef as it browned. I also doubled the sauce ingredients for our own preference. We like saucy chinese food. I used ground ginger instead of root. Basically, besides the onion- I did not stray from the original recipe and it turned out fantastic with a side of brownish rice.
04/19/2014
Super fast and like shooting fish in a barrel to get this on the table. All finished in less than thirty min. The about work in this dish was the prep and that was just slicing and dicing. I used a sirloin steak and frozen broccoli. I thought information technology was rather bland overall and needed quite a bit of seasoning at the table while my husband enjoyed this and had seconds. This needs a little something to brand information technology popular but I don't know exactly what flavor I am missing. I'll make this over again since it was such a hit with my husband.
09/23/2006
Terrible! Terrible! Terrible! This was not a traditional, asian flavored, broccoli and beef. This was a horribly bland, flour-similar, and gravy over broccoli and beef.
09/08/2011
Nosotros love this recipe. I doubled the sauce, used left over roast beefiness and warmed information technology with some onion, celery, mushrooms and red pepper. Also added 1/four tsp. red pepper flakes. Had this over some basmati rice. Was awesome. Thanks for the post.
02/xi/2007
I tried this one afterwards reading the reviews and made the following adjustments: doubled the garlic, used 2 TBS of corn starch instead of the flour, used 3 slices of crystalized ginger (finely chopped)instead of the fresh, omitted the sugar, added eight green onions sliced and added ane/2 tsp of sesame oil at the end of the cooking fourth dimension. It turned out really good. Thanks!
01/25/2011
we loved this recipe!!!!
01/xv/2002
This was outstanding! Extremely piece of cake to brand and absolutely delicious. My kids (ages 4 and 2) LOVED information technology. I used a xiv oz. tin of broth and 3/8 cup of flour to increment the amount of sauce I as well added a 4 oz. can of mushrooms. This one is a keeper!!
03/25/2013
I didn't read the reviews before I made this, and I guess I should have. I don't usually follow a recipe exactly, but I did with this ane. However, it came out extremely bland. I like all of the elements just it has no real flavor. Definitely needs table salt, pepper and onion at a minimum.
11/20/2000
This is *very* good. It also works with chicken instead of beef (utilize chicken broth and omit the sugar).
12/15/2009
This recipe is amazing! I similar mine really saucy, so I add together more than beef goop, soy sauce and garlic to my recipe, and information technology's notwithstanding awesome! When I cook this for my father I employ gluten free flour and yous can't gustation the difference!
09/27/2006
Married man says Wow! But I changed a few things equally other reviewers suggested. I tripled the garlic and fresh ginger,(fresh ginger is what makes this eatery quality) added a med. onion (or 3/four c. of green onions), and to spice it up, added 3/four tsp. of red chili flakes. Also used sirloin instead of circular steak and added an actress TB. of flour to the sauce. I also used beef bouillon instead of canned. Yous'll want to oestrus the bouillon a niggling and and whisk the flour in to forbid lumps. To cutting down on time, I precooked the veggies in the microwave and added it to the sauce just earlier serving. A+++
03/05/2010
Perfect. My husband loves this dish. I served it with fried rice restaurant style from the site. Others recommend doubling the sauce, but I thought it worked just fine every bit is. The meat turned out a little tough, merely I'one thousand not certain how to set up that.
06/02/2011
I really dear this recipe! Like everyone else, I have a suggestion. My husband and I only swallow chocolate-brown rice, and it takes quite a bit of time to cook. I like to brown the beef and add all of the liquid ingredients except the flour and permit information technology simmer on depression while the rice is cooking. Once the rice is almost done I add the broccoli, let information technology melt for a few minutes, and add together the flour last. It gives the beef time to soften and meld with some of the flavors of the goop. Also, I like to broccoli to remain somewhat crispy. Quite proficient.
07/26/2003
WOW! This was so quick and easy and it still turned out wonderful! The merely changes I made were I doubled the amount of garlic and I used ginger seasoning instead of the actual root. I will certainly make this one over again and over again and over again! Thanks for sharing such an awesome recipe!
03/22/2010
Delicious! I followed the directions and at the end tasted my finished dish. It was neat only then i decided to add virtually i tablespoon more of soy sauce and i used a little more than 1/iv tea of ground ginger. Thanks for the recipe.
07/fifteen/2003
This was and so easy and tasted great!!! I added onions and cauliflower only for fun and it good. This recipe is pretty close to what you lot'd get in a restaurant. I'll definitely be cooking this once again and reccommending it to others.
07/10/2010
The first time that I made this recipe I followed the directions exactly. It was okay, but did not taste like beef and brocolli that I was used to. Since and so I cooked the meat longer to make it more than tender, I add more seasoning and instead of using flour I skip it and then add cornstarch at the end to thicken it upward. I think it comes out better that style but that is merely my opinion.
06/12/2001
This recipe was soooo tasty. It really had the flavor and consistency of a eating place dish. For variation, next fourth dimension, I might toss in a handful of cashews. Mmmm my mouth is watering just thinking about it. I recommend serving with rice because the sauce is so good, and I'll probably brand an extra batch of the sauce because my hubby just couldn't get enough. I'm picky and not a great melt, so if it turned out for me yous know it must be good.
09/23/2013
Relieve your steak for something else! I made information technology the way it was written and information technology was a thick gooey mess even before adding the broccoli. There was nothing to steam the broccoli in and then I added more broth...and more broth...to finally cook the broccoli. Needed more Soy and pretty much everything else to add season. Information technology was just a sugariness gooey mess of bland flour, meat and broccoli. Went to suggestions hither and added more flavour earlier serving. Nonetheless non a winner in my house and a waste of expensive meat.
03/26/2011
I had high hopes for this dish, followed Mike T'south recommendations, but it just didn't exercise anything for united states.
03/12/2008
Followed recipe exactly, and information technology was quite insipid, bland and boring. Next time I will double all the spices, and possibly add together some sesame oil..
07/12/2008
Very skillful, but a little too sweet for my tastes (and I only used one-half the sugar). Notwithstanding, I volition make this once again with a few changes.
03/13/2011
VERY delish & super like shooting fish in a barrel to make. Would give it 5 stars but it's missing something I tin't quite put my finger on......
02/14/2011
Loved it. Doubled spices and perfect
04/07/2001
Very easy and alot similar the restuarant mode. I added slices of sweet vidalia onion to it and information technology added a little something "extra". My family loved it-especially my 5 yr. former
01/03/2003
I am in total SHOCK!!! Finally something my whole family unit has enjoyed!!. My six yr old ate information technology, my 2yr old ate it (and didnt throw information technology, at least not all of it anyway..) and and then did my ten month erstwhile!!! I did apply more garlic and no ginger (didnt have whatsoever) and used beef stock pulverisation instead of broth. Yet turned out GREAT!!
01/24/2002
Nifty recipe.I served it over chinese rice noodles and information technology was succulent! Very quick to make for i of those nights when you don't have also much time to set. Thanks!!
02/22/2006
I doubled my meat and estimate-timated on the broccoli. I used two cans of fourteen.five oz beef broth (I likewise seasoned my meat with garlic, pepper, and onion, so added chopped onion as well). The issue was not eatery quality, just very, very good--I had no complaints, only requests for 2d helpings from the kids. I felt it was missing something in the sauce (and it was a little sugariness IMHO). I'll accept to play with it a little. I cheated and didn't utilize rice--I made ramen noodles (without the seasoning packet) and used them instead of rice--it was a HUGE hit, and a unlike twist.
04/09/2006
Mmmmmmmmm!!!!! A lot of other reviewers had said this recipe was very bland. To salve it, I used added some hoisin sauce and sesame oil to the mix. I also substituted beefiness bouillon powder for the broth and corn starch for the flour. I sauteed some onions and garlic and also added some cherry-red pepper to the mix. I added more water and soy to brand more sauce and information technology was pretty tasty! Thanks!
01/x/2009
I've never had much luck getting the sauce to come out right for beef and broccoli before but this recipe was perfect! I doubled the garlic and used ane/2 tsp powdered ginger since I didn't have fresh. I fabricated the full sauce recipe with one-half the broccoli and beefiness, since my hubby is in Iraq and I'm cooking for one these days. The actress sauce was great for dipping with egg rolls and over rice. I used sirloin steak instead of round steak since that's what I had on paw, and cut it very thin. I'll definitely be making this one again, over advertizing over over again! I alive in Frg where good Chinese nutrient is not easy to come by and with the above mentioned changes, this tasted just like I remember getting at Pei Wei only with a fraction of the fatty! Thanks!
11/07/2002
This was tasty and I plan to go far again. My husband is non a big fan of Chinese food, but he really liked this. I added quite a bit more than garlic than the recipe calls for since we like that flavor. Next fourth dimension I recollect I'll use a more expensive cut of meat like flank steak. The round steak was OK, simply not outstanding.
03/05/2011
This was tasty and very quick to make. Not much fuss, perfect for a busy night or like for me this evening a lazy night :) I did apply basis ginger instead of fresh since when I was at the shop the fresh ginger looked very very sad. Worked fine. Thank you for the recipe.
03/07/2001
I added fresh sliced mushrooms forth with the broccoli and information technology was delicious.
07/fifteen/2002
I have always made Beefiness & Broccoli using the packet of spices from the grocery store. I had none today and so tried this recipe. Husband & kids LOVED IT!! And it was so piece of cake! Took less time than the fried rice I fabricated to go with it!!
09/21/2010
Practiced stuff, I'd cut back a tablespoon on the sugar though. I also added a beef burgoo cube for extra beef flavor.
11/07/2002
This was piece of cake to make, nevertheless I idea information technology lacked flavor. Pretty bland. Probably will not make again.
06/05/2001
Overall, it was a nice recipe although I didn't really like the sauce that much. I spread some roasted sesame on elevation - it gives a special kick to that dish.
08/16/2005
I made this for our luncheon today, it was neat. I marinaded the round steak showtime in what SummerRain had said, 2tbs soy sauce, two tsp brown sugar and i tsp sesame oil. The I added more veggies like green pepper, blood-red pepper, green onion, and sweet onion too the broccoli. It was wonderful!! Volition make many times again..
eleven/06/2007
This is one of my favorit recipes, although I practice make way more sauce. Information technology tastes similar takeout!!
08/27/2010
Everything was perfect when following the recipe. I wouldn't suggest changing anything.
03/31/2010
I followed the recipe exactly as is except for seasoning the beef with a little salt, pepper and garlic while it was cooking to give it a little more season. Nosotros used top round roast thinly sliced. The portions were perfect and the sauce thickened up beautifully! Highly recommended!
11/04/2008
This recipe is fantastic! I doubled the sauce (with no sugar and shop bought basis ginger)and added a chopped onion. I got home from piece of work, put on some rice, and in xxx minutes when the rice was done then was the broccoli beefiness! I idea the flavor was very shut to restaurant quality, and in my stance yous can't beat a quick and salubrious dinner that also tastes groovy.
03/25/2011
The sauce was right, the spice was right, and ease and quickness to brand was right! Very tasty....merely perfect for a weeknight meal.
12/14/2002
Very yummy! I employ actress garlic and ginger, though. I call back the beef goop is slap-up for the flavor.
01/25/2012
This is really skillful! I made information technology with sliced turkey breast fillets considering my husband doesn't eat red meat or pork and information technology was just every bit tasty. Served it with brown rice and egg drop soup.
01/05/2009
Delcious--- I substituted already prepared chopped garlic rather than fresh as I didn't desire the odour to permeate my peel prior to going to work. My husband said it was ameliorate than the Asian restaurants, no two flavors dominating the other merely the perfect remainder.
05/27/2007
My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed this recipe. I made it every bit given
11/01/2007
This was as skillful if non ameliorate than what I have had in any resturant.
02/28/2011
A wonderful meal! Definitely a keeper!
08/13/2007
too sugariness and bland.
06/12/2002
Beef was tough, Needs a improve cut of meat.
09/30/2008
The flavor was pretty ok, only my husband said I should have marinated the beef commencement. I wasn't crazy about the texture of the sauce. I doubled it, but if I were to make once again I would cut the flour in half. I idea it was too thick and "slimy". I as well added crushed red pepper which helped things some.
07/xiii/2009
I am giving this three stars. I agree with reviewer MikeT that the flour/liquid ratio doesn't work. Less flour more liquid or you will end up with glue. Too, next fourth dimension, I will triple up on the ginger and the rest of the spices because this was besides banal. I used brown sugar and so added additional white sugar for sweetness, I did not add basis blood-red pepper but only because I take to stay away from spicey foods. If not, I would have gladly added that flake of hot in the mix. I like this recipe because you can add anything y'all want, play with it and it will nonetheless be practiced. The only thing I call up is wrong with this recipe is that in that location is way too much flour which gave it a floury undertaste. I would make rue next time, using corn starch rather than flour and slowly add this into the liquids just for thickening and so that the flour does non overpower the spices. Otherwise, this is a good, healthy recipe.
05/27/2011
To brand this good recipe dandy, make the following changes: * Double the sauce. * Add ii tablespoons of Garlic Chili Sauce (a little less if you don't similar spicy). Also, don't forget that you tin can substitute 1 can of beef goop for two cups of water and 2 beefiness bouillon cubes.
02/21/2011
not a fan of the sugar, Information technology made information technology a picayune to sweet for me. The meat was a little tough. I think next fourth dimension I will make the round steak early on and simmer a few hours in the beef goop before putting the broccoli in.
06/xix/2007
Wow what a slap-up recipe! Tasted merely similar Chinese takeout only better. I did make a few changes. Start, I marinated the beef in soy sauce for a few hours, so instead of just broccoli, I used a mixture of broccoli, cauliflower and carrots. I too left out the ginger since I didn't have whatsoever.
02/xi/2009
This was a decent recipe. My married man liked it (and he's extremely picky). The but thing that I inverse was that I browned the meat in sesame oil, so added the ingredients every bit is. Information technology was non the accurate beef and broccoli but it was skilful.
01/07/2008
Equally-is, this recipe is good, but I added a few extra spices to make it actually tasty. I doubled the garlic, used basis ginger instead of fresh (it was what I had on hand), added 1/4 tsp of red pepper flakes, and 1 tsp of onion powder. I also used reduced sodium soy sauce, and omitted the carbohydrate. A quick, piece of cake, and tasty recipe!
04/14/2003
My married man and I felt the sauce was uninteresting and bland, however we exercise think it's a good base for a stir-fry. We didn't have enough ingredients to double it, every bit other reviewers suggested, but this wasn't a trouble. It definitely made plenty to mix with the rice. We used the frozen stir-fry beefiness (already cut into small pieces), to cut downwards on prep time. The meat and the broccoli were good. Next fourth dimension we'll add big pieces of onion and more garlic and ginger.
04/02/2011
An average-tasting dish. Needed salt and I felt like it was just lacking something to give it a kick. If I tried it once more I might try red pepper flakes.
03/02/2011
Nosotros actually liked this. I added 1/2 c sliced carrots b/c my footling one doesnt similar broccoli simply loves carrots. I volition be making this again. Thanks!
01/31/2010
Very good, although I'yard going to cut back a lil on the sugar. I volition definitely brand this again
09/thirty/2002
Not too impressed. I won't brand again. The sauce never thickened, and the beef broth diluted the flavour.
03/25/2008
this was pretty darn delicious. I didn't realized we were out of soy sauce, so used Worcestershire sauce instead. I used two cloves of minced garlic, added i/2 tsp scarlet pepper flakes (we like spice), doubled the goop, and added onions. Very good. Would be great over rice, but we ate it lonely to cut down the carbs. Notwithstanding very filling.
06/xx/2002
This was nothing that I would get excited about having again. It didn't have a singled-out flavor, except for a hint of ginger. The meat was tough. Overall, a pretty generic meal.
02/22/2014
Made equally written, otherwise I would be reviewing my "variation" and honestly I call back that would non be fair. That said, the dish was very adept but we are not big ginger fans so next time I make it I would just use a compression of ginger pulverization instead of fresh ginger. Nosotros were happy with the other flavors and didn't think it was to sweet as others did. I would also similar to add about 1/two tsp. fresh ground pepper, more than garlic, sliced onion and look forward to trying this recipe again in the almost future, with my small changes.
03/27/2015
JUST made this tonight. If you lot accept whatever other beef and broccoli recipe, TOSS Information technology. THIS one is the terminate all of all. My family unit absolutely raved over information technology! Adjusted the recipe to feed 12...NOT A Drib LEFT! Made no alterations, followed the directions to a T...PERFECT! ENJOY!
03/x/2008
This was pretty expert only i didn't think the sauce was quite right. I little bland and not thick enough for my tastes. I tried calculation a scrap of flour to the juices the thicken it a flake, which helped, but the texture was still off. Great season though
12/29/2014
I added a compression of red pepper flakes for some heat, but otherwise made no changes, and information technology was but like our local delivery place's Beef and Broccoli. I think next time, I'd add some onions and maybe some mushrooms as well.
07/12/2009
Recipe tastes very like to what you go far the restaurant. The sauce could use a picayune more flavour though. I added water chestnuts, onions, and edible bean sprouts for a little variety and it was neat.
06/29/2006
This recipe is so quick and easy. It is a great weeknight recipe. I accept used flank steak and detect that information technology works well. I followed other suggestions and added red pepper chip and water chestnut. Delicious. Thanks for submitting.
10/xi/2002
it was ok.
05/29/2002
So simply to make and so delicious! I was afraid information technology might be banal so I added onions. I used top sirloin which came out nice & tender. Thanks for the recipe. I will definitely make this again. I'll try mushrooms next.

We loved this. After reading reviews I made some modifications. I used a 14 oz can beefiness broth, used brown instead of white sugar, doubled the soy sauce, used sirloin steak instead of round, used footing ginger instead of fresh & doubled the ammount, doubled the garlic & added 1 t sesame oil. I also added 1/4 t of ruby-red pepper flakes but my husband said it made it too hot so I won't use them once more. This was soooo good. But like it came from a Chinese restaurant. I fabricated it with Fried Rice Restaurant Way & Best Egg Rolls Ever from this site. Thanks.

I made some of the suggested modifications and thought this recipe was OK. I come across that if I didn't change it, information technology would have been bland. It isn't restaurant-quaility, but it is quick and easy. I would make this again considering of the ease, only I would go along to tweek it. Also, one kid loved it and the picky 1 did so-so with it which is pretty skillful.

My husband just loved this recipe and he is not a large broccoli fan. Too, I added fresh mushrooms to information technology and information technology tasted bang-up..

This is a Great recipe. I don't know why everyone was changing everything almost information technology. I added an actress clove of garlic and a tad more than broth -- but realized in the finish that information technology would have been meliorate without it. Really. This is a simple and tasty recipe!
